The Cedar Elective Programme brings further balance to the secondary school curriculum by allowing students to pursue personal interests through high-interest, engaging courses.
Such courses include athletic offerings, such as Tennis and Squash, Sailing, Ultimate Frisbee, CrossFit, and Yoga. Arts options include Band, Vocals, Theatre, and Mixed Media Arts. Other options have included Culinary Arts, Debate, Journalism, and more.
Elective courses are multi-age and meet for two hours per week. Courses are pass/fail and are assessed using the MYP Approaches to Learning rubric. These courses also earn credit which appears on the academic transcript.
