Cedar International School is delighted to extend congratulations to Tatiana Fahie for being selected by the IB as a Middle Years Programme (MYP) Student Innovator.
Through a competitive application review process open to students from across the world, the IB selects a small number of students every year to create, innovate or expand on an impactful project of their own design. Finalists receive access to a newly expanded network of peers and grant funding to transform their powerful idea into reality.
Tatiana has been chosen based on the strength of her previous work in founding the BVI’s first ever chapter of ‘Girl Up’ and plans on using this opportunity to expand on her goal to empower girls across the territory through education and awareness.
Scott Crawford, Director of Cedar International School, stated: “This is a really impressive achievement. As award recipients are selected from MYP students all across the globe, this sets Tatiana among an elite group of global peers. We are extremely proud of her and pleased to have the opportunity to support her in reaching her goals.’
