IB results for the Class of 2023 were received over the summer revealing a record high at Cedar! 14 Cedar students earned the IB Diploma, with 5 more earning IB course certificates. Those earning the full IB Diploma achieved an average score well above the global average of 30 points (and far above the minimum passing score of 24). Indeed, 9 Cedar students achieved scores at or above 30 points, with five students scoring between 35 and 39 points (out of a maximum of 45).
This marks three years in a row we have seen a rise in the number of Cedar students scoring above 30. As a non-selective inclusive school, this is particularly gratifying.
Armed with these results, Cedar’s latest graduates are now off to a slate of impressive universities in Canada, the US and Europe, including two prestigious Russell Group universities in the UK – King’s College London and the University of Exeter.
Congratulations to the Class of 2023!
